A Dance In The Rain│AN ORIGINAL POEM

Let the hips-swaying trees
And the motionless mountains
And the straying butterflies of the night
Listen to the invisible bass guitar in the dark sky
Let the stars and the moon retire
To their place, beneath the curtains of the clouds
To allow the pregnant clouds burst open
Like the inside of an overripe watermelon
And let the legion of rains descend
To find me shirtless, dancing in the rain
Woe to the man with an umbrella.
