For Paul life in the great city meant being away from his grandmother María, being that they gave him a few days off, he was able to travel to the town where his mother's family lived. As he had to complete some jobs held his laptop to be able to finish his work.
After traveling by road on an express bus, he leave it on the edge of the road near the grandmother's house, the farm was located on the edge of the road. When descending from the unit, the senses of him could feel the freshness of the environment, a nearby river animated the surroundings with the noise of its stream of water, musical sounds of birds gave a touch of joy to the place.
He went to the cabin, there the grandmother of him was preparing the food, she seeing him hugged him immediately and she invite him to sit at the table to eat. Paul told Maria about his life in the city and how much he had surprised him. After finishing as he had to continue with the computer work of him, he connect his mobile phone to look for the Internet signal. So he had to go outside the house, sitting on the grass finally managed to connect.
Maria, watched him from the door of the cabin, assessing that the child delayed to return she approached him. Sitting to his side, Paul affectionately asked her grandmother about his mother's childhood, he wanted to know the reason that his parents had left her alone, to go live in the big city.
The grandmother realizing how smart he was her grandson began to narrate everything she knew about her daughter and the reasons that encouraged him to emigrate from the native terroir of her.

Para Paul la vida en la gran ciudad significaba estar alejado de su abuela María, siendo que le dieron unos días libres, pudo viajar al pueblo donde vivía la familia de su madre. Como debía completar algunos trabajos llevo su computadora portátil para poder terminar sus trabajos.
Luego de viajar por carretera en un autobús expreso, este lo dejo al borde del camino cerca de la casa de su abuela, la finca estaba ubicada al borde de la carretera. Al descender de la unidad, sus sentidos pudieron sentir la frescura del ambiente, un río cercano animaba el entorno con el ruido de su corriente de agua, sonidos musicales de pájaros daban un toque de alegría al lugar.
Se dirigió a la cabaña, allí su abuela se encontraba preparando la comida, ella al verlo lo abrazo inmediatamente y le invito a que se sentara en la mesa para comer. Paul le contó a María sobre su vida en la ciudad y cuanto le había extrañado. Luego de terminar como debía seguir con sus trabajos de computadora conecto su teléfono móvil para buscar señal de internet. Así debió salir afuera de la casa, sentado en el césped finalmente logro conectarse.
Maria, lo observaba desde la puerta de la cabaña, valorando que el niño demoraba en regresar se acercó a él. Sentándose a su lado, Paul cariñosamente le pregunto a su abuela sobre la infancia de su madre, deseaba saber el motivo que sus padres la habían dejado sola, para irse a vivir a la gran ciudad.
La abuela dándose cuenta de lo inteligente que era su nieto comenzó a narrarle todo lo que sabía de su hija y los motivos que le animaron a emigrar de su terruño natal.
