She wanted to be first in the competition, but as she came second, she could not speak as fluently, which shows in her strange voice that she is not very happy with her position in the competition.
The organiser and the supporters knew that she was better than her opponent in everything, but she was not able to answer many more questions than her, as the car she was drive with had a broke down on the way and she got stressed, which made her come late.
As the quiz went on, she wasn't herself, she thinks about her teachers that couldn't come to the quiz with her and thinks about how they are doing with the car at school.
When she takes the microphone, she starts thanking the contest organisers, her teachers, her parents and all those who support her.
The odds show so much when she came to talk about her position and then the moderator came and took the microphone from her and let her know that she is awesome in talent and competition, position or no position she is the best student.
