The two men came into the motel, one with a briefcase, asking for Ruth the head of the Bean counter, her co-worker alert her and she hide herself, since she didn't know who were those men.
People thought the men came to spent the night in the motel since it was night, but they left after asking for Ruth, it was not like she was having an issue with anybody, she is a girl raised by a good woman, atleast that was what she was told and she believes it to be true, she has a sister older than her that is married with kid's.
Ruth was shaking profusely, and she took excuse from the manager and insist she rather take cover to protect herself, because, those men she saw was not looking gentle.
she thought of spending the night at her sister's place, but when she arrived, she met the same two men, eating in the dining table, she was profusely shaking and you could see her feet in that manner.
"He came with your picture" the sister said.
"what picture?, she asked.
Everything came to light that, he was Ruth's father, the mother got married to a second man and still break up, while she was carrying a child in her womb.
After so many years of not hearing from him, the mother believed, the second man she got married to, has passed away since he didn't come and check on them, so she didn't bother to tell Ruth about her father, that he is alife but living in another country, right now his is back to look for her daughter, after he heard that her wife was carrying a child before they broke up.
