A young lad once found himself in a dark and creepy alley, abandoned for years; where moth and rust doth lie. Where he came from, no one knew... But the look on his face, and redness of his skin already revealed to us that he had fought a terrible battle.
Cold,shivering and numb; he still was asked how he got into the creepy alley. And after some time of calmness, he narrated his story saying he couldn't quite remember the whole deal but it sure felt like the devil has brought him there.
According to him, after a fight with his friend Tommy at school, he had found himself crawling in the alley where he fell on his face and darkness beheld him. At the spot, he desperately cried to God to please help him out of what seemed like a never ending tunnel. He promised he was never going to get into a fight anymore, and at least he missed home and how his mother used to caution him against fighting.
On our end, we felt sorry for him as he continued the story. And at a later time, we all skimmed for traces of him reaching the alley and got one when he revealed that there was a tunnel at the old school field. Maybe Tommy and friends had plotted against him after the fight....
Well, Fortunately for him, some tourists who decided to go for a desperate hide and seek, sought him and rescued him to us. However, he was already spun in a spider's web, with all the redness and sores on his body. Looking back, he really couldn't have survived it. Maybe God had a hand in it. Maybe this was one of life's hard lessons on him.
