The supreme court is the highest court in the country, probably any country. It stands for justice and equity in a time full of corruption and injustice. The legal system is a major pillar of a nation, once this pillar is broken, there will be problem because what can put us in check is gone. People would behave the way they are because there would not be consequences to their actions. The law pits everyone in check, including the leaders. So, the supreme court is the highest authority to make sure that law and order is preserved.
