Standing guard is a very important duty, in itself it gives a sense of purpose being responsible for other people's lives including yourself ofcourse. It also can be interesting, as a lot happens on scene plus the experience you gain from it. It is cool handing gadgets, and dressing pro like the guy in the picture above. I love the job, and bring a security detail for a Charitable organization or the church is a good role for me, I really don't want the trouble of guns and violence.
