This paid commission is a strategy by firms to increase the productivity of employees, mostly times it can be tricky and the employee exploited because of the greed during bargaining.
In a way, it is better than salary where you have to wait till the end of the month or the end of the week but a paid commission pays you immediately you accomplish a task, hence, you get paid per job. An important fact to note is that, a capitalist only starts his business for profit, so he'll never lose despite making this kind of offer. So, the employee is still being exploited, but maybe a little bit better than the other salary earners. My candid opinion, though
