Justify The Lie
Telling my best friend her new hairstyle is the worst she's ever gotten tops the the chart as the biggest lie I've ever told. She definitely thought I was being honest, although as brutal well because of how serious I was when I was saying it. She is a social butterfly at school, now she comes to school with hoodies everyday and stays at her desk throughout because of how bad she feels about it.
I wanted to get back at her for telling on me but I didn't realize she was going to take something of that nature to heart the way she is doing now.
Now I have to think of something to make her feel better, another lie to justify the first one because I can't tell her the truth. Or maybe I should just say the truth and come clean? She is never going to forgive me for ruining her moments when she was supposed to show off. I'm caught up and confused, but it has to end tomorrow when I go to school, either I justify the lie with another one or I come clean.
