A picture Is Worth A Thousand Words

As the saying goes "When in Rome, do as the Romans do". This was the case for Mr. & Mrs. Rahul who relocated to London for a job. They were both Arabians who were accustomed to their way of dressing. One of the requirements for the job was dressing in suits, and they had accepted the terms.

"This looks funny on me" Mrs. Rahul said as she observed her dressing in the mirror

"I prefer to say smart instead," Mr. Rahul replied.

It was Monday morning, the road was busy with pedestrians, the noise from chattering and horns of vehicles disturbed the peaceful atmosphere. It was their first day of going to work which was a few blocks away from their residence and had decided to walk down to their workplace.

They walked down the street boldly on black suits looking smart. Even though Rahul liked his new dressing, Mrs. Rahul wasn't comfortable with the length of her skirt which was above her knee.

"I'll seek for the consent of the manager to sew a skirt that'll go below my knee " Mrs Rahul said.

"That's fine, we'll talk to him about that when we get to the office," he replied.

They arrived at the office and were welcomed by a good working environment. Everyone was polite and cheerful, "it wasn't a bad idea that we chose to work here" Mrs. Rahul whispered into Rahul's ears. He chuckled, he was surprised to learn she already felt comfortable there.

"Maybe you should just stick with the length of the skirt," he joked.

"No way, the working environment doesn't include this" she replied pointing at the skirt. They both smiled as they headed to the Manager's office. He was also friendly and permitted her to dress in a way she felt comfortable as long as she dressed smartly.
