The life of nicknames in five minutes

The life of nicknames in my town is an everyday thing, even one of my best friends uses nicknames to recognize our other friends, for him using diminutives is the most practical way to name his friends.

Now, in the case of writing or sending text messages we have the advantage of using nicknames because we use fewer characters, on the other hand there are people that life has rewarded with truly epic nicknames.

For example in high school classes I had a classmate who was platinum blond and his nickname was Canoso, this because the nickname responded to the need for a nominal identity to distinguish him.
