Autumn's Dance

The autumn wind swirled leaves 'round my skirt
As his eyes wandered in their dance
Over fabric and form, a journey whose start
Was lost to memory's swift trance
Each place his gaze alighted, ling'ring still
Sent through me a visible shiver
As if my very soul could not help but thrill
To his roving stare's tender quiver
This man with a look could my whole being stir
More than any suitor before
Through me his glances weave a spell I prefer
To magic from any adorer's lore
In you, sir, I've found love's sweet paradise
Uncovered by autumn's romantic eyes
