Janet became popular with her drama series usually aired in one of the local stations in her vicinity.
One day some movie directors came calling and saw her raw talent on display. They contacted her with a view to collaborate with her in their movie industry. She agreed but in order to move on with the deal she needs to sign some contractual documents with the movie company.
When the contract was drafted and presented to her she took some days to reflect on it with a view to get back to them soonest. After the third day she returned the contract unsigned. The movie directors were surprised and inquired from her why she could not sign same.
They never knew that Janet had contacted a solicitor to review the contract for her. The solicitor discovered some hidden clauses in the contract which would have made Janet act up to 5 movies before she could be considered for payment. It was like an audition for her.
When she told them her discoveries in the contract they were agape and requested for an adjustment which she turned down. Moving on that same day another lucrative offer was made to her via a mail with enticing offers from a different movie company. She wasted no time to accept the later offer.
