The battle for the soul of the state capital rages on with both the allied troops and the rebels firing at each other to take control of same.
Capt. Umoh who is leading the allied troops is an experienced soldier and war veteran having fought in many wars and recorded huge successes. In one of the days, he decided to go alone and see his army in the frontline. On getting to a roadblock mounted on the way he thought that it was his men. He stopped and alighted and to his greatest surprise it was the rebels.
He was expecting a thunderous salute from them but got a cold reception. They shouted "aye, aye, that's the saboteur". Get him down"!!! It was at that point that he knew that all was not well. He wanted to retreat to his armoured car but it was already too late for that.
The rebels surrounded him, grabbed him, and disarmed him quite too easily and to even his own embarrassment. He was led from the road and into the bush like a commoner. He simply obeyed them for fear of his dear life.
Soon, the media was awash with the capture of the highly revered commander of the allied forces... Capt. Umoh by the rebels.
