The marriage between Philip and the wife was seen by many as a match made in heaven. They were happy fellows as boyfriend and girlfriend before they became man and wife.
After about two years of marriage their union was blessed with a bouncing baby boy. The child was named Wayne. Soon, Philip started keeping late nights. Initially, he attributed it to his work schedule. His wife complained bitterly about it. Philip promised to do something about it but instead he persisted.
At a point the wife could no longer bear. She was not convinced about what the husband told her as to the reason why he keeps late night. Her instinct told her to make some background findings. She then discovered that the husband Philip was keeping a mistress who now occupy him. She also discovered that the said mistress was already pregnant for him. His wife was shattered after making this heartbreaking discovery. Friends and family relations waded into the matter but could not settle same. The couple ultimately ended in court for separation.
At the conclusion of the court hearing Philip was ordered to pay a monthly support of one hundred and fifty thousand naira only. He was warned to be diligent about it otherwise he will be cited for contempt.
