Day 2011: 5 Minute Freewrite: Prompt: surgery window

This is my entry for Day 2011: 5 Minute Freewrite: Tuesday - Prompt: surgery window

The red lightbulb is still shining above the pale-colored doors, nothing seems to happen that much, nor it offers something more cheering. It only offers plain hope for those battling behind that door for whatever health condition they are facing.

But Jhon's eyes are locked into the frozen glass of the surgery window, he has no intention of paying much attention to the red lightbulb above that door.

His mind is traveling elsewhere, he counted all the possibilities that might come after that door is open. There was fear, hope, and stress all at once, filling up his already crowded mind. At some point, the question of whether this is real or only a dream glance over his very eyes.

But this is the fact that he has to go through. And the only thing he wants to hear is that the doctor comes out from the surgery room, and tells him that the surgery went successfully, and his wife will be back to normal pretty soon.
