Those living abbot the major highway always have stories of misadventure to tell. Jonas, an occupant of one of the flats along the ever busy Alaskan expressway narrated a chilling story to his friends as they were discussing over some bottle of drinks.
He was stressing the need to always cage animals, including pets. As he pointed out, they could be victims of hit and run drivers. One day, as he noted, a very plumpy dog which obviously strayed had just hit the expressway, maybe trying to trace its way home.
Unfortunately for it, an articulate vehicle which on top speed was coming it's way. Vehicles were moving at great speed on both sides of the road. And the articulate vehicle....it was indeed a very close shave...had to manouvre to save the life of the stray dog.
