Source

Janet was introduced into the business of importation and sale of fairly used cars from the land borders of her country. But before she began the business, she understudied her close friend Catherine who has been in the business for about two years. There, she learnt the tricks and the ups and downs in the said business.

When she became independent and free to begin the importation stuff she also received the blessings of her then master Catherine. Her first few months in the business was a tough one as she hardly make sales. Soon, she started to attract clients and the business began to take shape and she was happy.

However, one sad incident happened one day. Janet ordered for ten cars which was promptly delivered. But unknown to her no commission was paid on them to the appropriate authority at the land border. After three days of delivery, the customs officials stormed her car stand and carted away all the ten exotic cars delivered!

The next day Janet went to their office and the customs boss told her that she had to pay extra commission and fine for demurrage. She just couldn't understand what was happening. She had to rally round and raise the needed money so as to retrieve the cars from the confiscating authority.

Once she had extricated herself from that very problem she started examining in person all papers covering every imported cars by her irrespective of whatever she was told by the importing authority.
