Initially he hesitated to find out the cause of the sound thinking that it was those picking eggs and refiling the feeding tray of the birds.

When the noise persisted, he decided to draw closer. Behold what he saw baffled him seriously. He saw that a Red Fox had entered the poultry farm and inside the pens picking the birds for feeding. Initially, he wanted to shout but resisted the urge. He then flashed his touch light consistently at the direction with the highest nice. The fox saw him, sensed danger and bolted away.

My Ejike was informed of this development and he thought of what he can do to arrest the situation. He decided to go for a hunter who has an iron trap. He met Jide, a hunter who promised to help out. After about 4 days of setting the trap the red fox was caught and Mr. Ejike was relieved that it was caught by the trap. His birds stopped reducing in numbers thereafter.
