5 Minute Freewrite: Single Prompt Option: Tomorrow It Would Start

Source

Aroleya was a fine gentlemen. He dresses to kill and every young man desires to be like him. But he had a fault. His morbid responsibility towards crime was second to none. Catch him from one criminal act today and by tomorrow he would start again.

Ocean travellers had once advised that he be sold off to a foreign land so that his neighbourhood would be calm but that idea was quelled as being too mean.

Soon, Katalia appeared before the elders. Her voice sounded quite odd. They listened with rapt attention as she narrated how Aroleya sneaked into her compound and carted away all her clothes and money which she realised from the pledge of her deceased husband's lands.

Filled with empathy the elders summoned Aroleya who blatantly refused to appear before them. He was already hiding. Words went round and young men knotted their stomach with the native track finder belts.

In a matter of days, Aroleya was caught. He was taken to the compost dustbin and silenced there. The neighbourhood became calm thereafter. Till date, that area is now known as the Aroleya cave.
