Mark woke up very early and prepared for the slated interview with the construction company. He has been jobless for over three years now. This time he prayed very hard to land the job. At least some of his bills can then be taken care of from the salary he will probably earn from the company.

He had looked at the salary packages on offer by the company and braced himself up for the interview. He told himself that he will impress his prospective employee in such a way that they will have no option but to hire him.

He got to the venue of the interview and there were so many people waiting. He joined the queue. When it finally got to his turn he was ushered into the mini conference hall where the interviewers were already seated. He greeted them and took his own seat.

The interview progressed well until when it got to the salary packages and other entitlements from the company. What the interviewers presented as their pay package was a reverse of what was earlier advertised! Mark was downcasted. He remained speechless for some minutes. Alot of things were going on in his mind at that moment. The take home as offered was very meager, in fact a far cry from what he had expected.

Dejectedly, he left the room and went straight home. Certainly, the job is not meant for him considering his qualifications and the salary package on offer.
