The boys have been terrorising residents of the Blue Estate and making life difficult for them for a long time now. All efforts by the inhabitants of the Estate to arrest the situation have yielded no positive results so far. This time around the boys planned to raid the Estate once again in the wake of Christmas.
Jude, Zack and Robby then visited their ring leader Fabian in his den to plan their latest operation and earmark a potential target. Fabian was at hand to welcome them. He laid out the plans to them and identified a target which in this case is a supermarket within the Blue Estate. It was agreed that they should survey the place for days before they attack. Zack and Robby were detailed for this.
After about three days the gang reconvened at their hideout and Zack and Robby gave their assessment of their target and arrangement was concluded as to how and when toa strike. Thus, they were to hit their target on the 24th which is the eve of Christmas...a very busy day for shoppers. That fateful day came and like hungry Wolves the gang swooped on the supermarket, taking owners and shoppers alike by surprise. They robbed people of their monies, phones and jewelries successfully and fled in a car which they had earlier hijacked from a man.
As they were fleeing the owner of the supermarket alerted the police of the sudden robbery in his supermarket. The police swong into action and gave them a hot chase. When they saw the police coming they increased their speed and unknown to them that the car they had earlier hijacked from the man for their escape was on a road test! The car suddenly broke down with the police close in sight. The gang members became confused. The tried hard to power the car but all was Tor no avail. Should they alight from the car and run away and risk the police firing at them or just remain in the car and get arrested peacefully by the police. Robby who was driving the car decided to flee at that point, having tried unsuccessfully to fire the car up. Immediately he stepped out of the car he was gunned down and he dropped lifelessly on the road.
Fears gripped the other gang members and they remained glued to their seats. The police came and arrested them without even firing further shots and whisked them away to their station for interrogation.
