This week's Zapfic Monday prompt is "Coerce". Hard not to go a little controversial with this one.....
“We’ll need the police to enforce this,” the Minister told his Chief Secretary.
“No,” the civil servant replied. “We won’t have to coerce the people if we tell them it’s for their own good and if they don’t follow our guidance they’ll die.”

For any of my friends (or anyone else, for that matter !) who reads this and fancies giving it a try, it's really fun and thought provoking. The rules are really simple;
