"La pérdida de un vecino"
Había una vez una mujer llamada Ana, quien vivía sola en un pequeño apartamento. Ella trabajaba duro todos los días y raramente tenía tiempo para disfrutar de la vida. Un día, mientras revisaba su correo, encontró una factura de agua sorprendentemente alta.
Ana estaba frustrada y decidió investigar. Descubrió que su vecino, un hombre llamado Carlos, había estado desperdiciando agua regando su jardín con exceso. Ana decidió confrontar a Carlos sobre la factura de agua, pero cuando llegó a su casa, encontró que había fallecido debido a una enfermedad.
Ana se sintió triste y arrepentida de haber sido tan envidiosa y crítica con Carlos. Se dio cuenta de que había perdido la oportunidad de conocer a alguien que podría haber sido un buen amigo y compañero. La factura de agua ya no importaba, porque Ana había aprendido la lección de que la vida es corta y debemos aprovechar cada oportunidad para ser amables y compasivos con los demás.

Once upon a time there was a woman named Ana, who lived alone in a small apartment. She worked hard every day and rarely had time to enjoy life. One day, while going through her mail, she found a shockingly high water bill.
Ana was frustrated and decided to investigate. He discovered that his neighbor, a man named Carlos, had been wasting water by overwatering his garden. Ana decided to confront Carlos about the water bill, but when she got home, she found that he had passed away due to illness.
Ana felt sad and regretful for having been so envious and critical of Carlos. He realized that he had missed the opportunity to meet someone who could have been a good friend and companion. The water bill no longer mattered, because Ana had learned the lesson that life is short and we must take every opportunity to be kind and compassionate to others.
