As you may know in the villages and maybe also in the cities there is a teaching called Catechism. It teaches Christianity to children and prepares them for the first confession and communion. After that, they become official members of the church.

Just yesterday I finished this training and I had Holy Communion, and outside yesterday I had Confession. And it was so. Confession was at 7 o'clock in the evening, my grandfather had to take us.
Якраз вчора я закінчила це навчання і в мене було Святе Причастя, а поза вчора Сповідь. А було це так. Сповідь була на 7 годину вечора, нас мав відвезти дідо.

Священика, ще не було так що нам треба було почекати. Коли священик приїхав я його запитала:
-чи можна читати з листка гріхи?

Ось так я взнала, що можна читати з листка. Все було дуже просто: підійшла, розказала гріхи, він дав покуту, пішла. Я була четверта.
Communion is more interesting: I put on my mint dress, a gray cape, my wreath of beads and earrings. First there was the liturgy. Yesterday our church was decorated for this holiday. We were put in pairs, given flowers with ribbons and we went to church.
Причастя вже цікавіше: я одягнула своє м'ятне плаття👗, сіру накидку, свій вінок з бісеру і сережки. Спочатку була літургія. Ще вчора нашу церкву прикрасили до цього свята. Нас поставили по двоє, дали квіти зі стрічками і ми зайшли в церкву.
Then the priest gave his speech and we took turns going to him to give us bread and wine. To be honest, I didn't like this mixture very much 😝.
Потім священик сказав свою промову і ми по черзі йшли до нього, щоб він дав нам хліб і вино. Якщо чесно така суміш мені не дуже сподобалася 😝.
After that we had a concert. First we recited poems, and then a song. Watch the video. Then we were consecrated with holy water and we went to take pictures. That's what we had Communion! ..
Після цього в нас був концерт. Спочатку ми розказували віршики, а потім пісню. Подивіться відео. Потім нас посвятили священною водою і ми пішли фотографуватися. Ось таке у нас було Причастя!..
