Недалеко від Києва, в Макарівському районі області, приблизно у 35 кілометрах від столиці знаходиться невелике село Колонщина. Раніше, через наявність дачної ділянки, я досить часто бував тут. Однак це було досить давно, останній раз в 2009 році.
Not far from Kyiv, in the Makariv district of the region, about 35 kilometers from the capital is a small village Kolonshchyna. Earlier, due to the presence of a country site, I visited here quite often. However, this was a long time ago, the last time in 2009.
Село це невелике, знаходиться далеко від траси Київ-Чоп, проте, останнім часом стало активно забудовуватися. І це не дивно, природа тут чудова, ще не зачеплена мегаполісом, зокрема в меншій мірі, ніж, наприклад, в Бучі.
The village is small, located far from the route Kyiv-Chop, however, recently began to be actively built up. And this is not surprising, the nature here is beautiful, not yet affected by the metropolis, in particular to a lesser extent than, for example, in Bucha.
Колонщина досить давнє село - перша згадка про нього відноситься до 1608 року. За іншими джерелами заснована вона була в 1635 році якимось Колонським.
Kolonshchyna is a fairly old village - the first mention of it dates back to 1608. According to other sources, the Kolonshchyna was founded in 1635 by a certain Kolonsky.
Археологія ж говорить про те, що поселення на цьому місці були куди раніше. У селі і навколо нього існують кургани часів Київської Русі. Один з них до цих пір місцевими жителями називається Батиєвою горою, так як в цьому місці був бій з татаро-монголами на чолі з Батиєм. Це щоправда легенда.
Archeology suggests that the settlements at this place were much earlier. In the village and around it there are mounds from the times of Kievan Rus. One of them is still called Batyeva mountain by locals, as in this place there was a battle with the Tatar-Mongols led by Batu. This is a true legend.
