A: Having a large mana pool to play with I managed to get a well balanced team with a good mix of magic and ranged damage.

SUMMONER

General Sloan

General Sloan was used to give +1 ranged attack.

Chaos Knight

This card was used as my frontline tank, but it was more like my back up tank as the Shieldbearer in second position with the 'Taunt' ability acts as the main focus at the beginning.

Shieldbearer

Shieldbearer is my 'goto' tank of choice when it comes to the life splinter with higher mana ruleset. A good choice to soak up a lot of damage and give some time to my backline to get in their damage at the start.

High Priest Darius

This is not part of my usual roster and is only in my collection as a way to get my card power up. In saying that he was a great addition to the line up this time providing a big life pool, heaps of magic damage and the 'Resurrect' ability which works well with Shieldbearer.

Venari Crystalsmith

One of my favourite life cards, offers ranged attack as well as a tank heal for a cheap mana cost.

Pelacor Arbalest

The staple when it comes to the life ranged setup. 3 ranged attack with general sloan and double strike makes it an easy addition.

Prismologist

Boasting high ranged damage along with some armour and the 'Blast' ability just rounds out the team. Only even mana cards can be used. Your options to choose cards will be halved. You'll be forced to use cards that you really don't use much. What will you try differently next time? A: Yes it worked. I don't normally use the life splinter and prefer other splinters that offer a more enjoyable experience for my playstyle. Q: Do you like the Chaos Knight? Why or why not? A: It has the potential to be a good card but only in certain rulesets ie: 'Lost Magic' or 'Equaliser' which has the potential to boost its health pool.
