I’m drawing some portrait of anime characters.
I’ve switched to the new way of drawing about 2 months ago. Now I draw in grayscale with broad strokes using thicker pen tools instead of drawing with fine lines.
I really like this style of drawing. I think it let me draw a little faster and adding colours is much easier for me.
2ヶ月ほど前に描き方を変えてから調子がいいです。
以前は鉛筆ツールでラフ画を描いてから線画と色塗りをしていましたが、最近は太めの筆でザクザクっとラフ画を描いて、整えて、色をのせます。
描くというよりは描いている物の形を整えると言ったほうがあっている感じです。
この方が私には合っていて、以前より早く描けているように感じます。苦手な色塗りも楽になりました。

I drew 6 of them in a couple of days. This is the record! I’ve never drawn this fast.
These are rough sketches by the way. I’m going to finish the grayscale and add colour to them later. I’m having so much fun creating these rough sketches. I thought I sould post something now because it will take some times to finish grayscale and colour them.
