This is a region called Beşkonaklar, connected to the Serik district of Antalya. You can reach Antalya city center in about an hour with your own car. The place I showed at the beginning of my article is called Perge Nature Houses. Perge Nature Houses are located near the Köprülü Canyon National Park in Beşkonak. Stone and bungalow houses with fireplaces, which fascinate people with the beauty of nature, dazzle with their peaceful pool obtained from natural resources.
I think bungalow houses are one of the best options for rest and holiday. Perge Nature Houses is one of the holiday houses planned with modern designs, where you can spend time in peace and pleasure in the nature environment. Let me briefly talk about accommodation opportunities. Then let me show you the places to visit around. At Perge Nature Houses, you can rent a room in four different options: Standard room, lake view room, VIP room and duplex family room. They set the room price for one night as 3300 TL. So, it's around $100. But prices may vary depending on the season. This price includes room, breakfast and dinner. You can either relax in the cabins placed around the natural pool, or enjoy the view by eating something in the seating areas in front of it. In addition, the modernly designed planting stones and colorful lighting on them at the transition points around the natural pool made the environment even more beautiful. Especially when it gets dark, the breathtaking view of the pool and the lights shining between the houses emerges.
Köprülü Canyon National Park, located near Perge Nature Houses, is the area around the deep blue river passing between two large cliffs in Manavgat district of Antalya. The old historical building image of the historical bridge located in the middle of the river, which takes its source from the Taurus Mountains, attracts the attention of tourists who come here. The bottom of the bridge, which is a narrow, old structure, is in the shape of an arch and separates two large rocks from each other. The river passing under this bridge starts from the Taurus Mountains, flows through Köprüçay, and from there to the south of Serik, before flowing to the Mediterranean coast.
The color and brightness of the river passing under Köprülü Canyon is so beautiful that when the sun reaches its peak, the grass, greenery and sparkle of the river clinging to the rocks become dazzling. Small pine trees among the rocks also provide shade to the river when necessary. The independent appearance and shapes of the rocks also reveal the surrounding natural environment.
By the way, let me say it right away. You can enjoy fishing in Köprülü Canyon. You can embark on a fun adventure by rafting in the rushing waters of the fast-flowing stream. There are many businesses that organize rafting around Köprülü Canyon. Prices vary. For those who want to see the waterfall and the entire canyon, you can go on a trip in large boats accompanied by staff, which will take about an hour. They set the price for this as 1000 TL. When you go for a tour, many staff members try to recruit customers by giving you information. When you accept, they take you to the rafting place by car.
I saw the sign saying Altınkaya and Selge next to Köprülü Canyon. It said 11 km to Selge. Selge is an ancient city. We set out to go there. I was very curious about this ancient city built on the top of the mountain. We passed through winding asphalt roads on our way to the top. I had to stop the car constantly while leaving. The views looked so beautiful and magnificent from the top that I couldn't resist. I took lots of pictures. The view of that deep blue river from a distance was exquisite. The long row of big steep rocks side by side also enchanted me. Beşkonak and the greenery of its surroundings were visible from the hill. Pine trees on the sides of the road accompanied us throughout the journey. As we went up, the wind took effect and cooled the air. The trees and bushes that covered the mountains like a green sheet were challenging the clouds. Even standing side by side with the clouds at the top of the summit gave people great pleasure.
While you're on the road, do you look at that rock on the road? Its shape resembles a jug. It looks like it's going to spill water on our car as we pass by.
Selge Ancient City was not 11 km as written. The road was never ending. I didn't have much gas in my car. That's why we decided to return without seeing the Selge Ancient City. It would get dark anyway. On the way back, we took a short tea break while enjoying the view.
Now it was time to go back to Antalya. We chose to take a different route as our way back. This road was shorter and the roads were smoother. As we were leaving, we saw an old bridge that could be considered historical and the stream passing under it. We stopped again and took pictures of this magnificent natural beauty. This stream, passing through steep rocks, has formed a small pool just beyond the bridge. The surroundings of the pool and the wide-bodied trees and green bushes that accompanied it formed the area where everyone could take a break and take pictures. Especially in places where the pool was shallow, the round stones on its surface and the greenery jutting out from between them looked very lively and spectacular.
After taking a short photo break at this last place, we entered the Antalya road. Thus, we ended the day by adding new memories to the places we visited. I hope we made you feel the joy of this beautiful day we had. Take care of yourself, see you on other trips. 🤗🌺

Perge Doğa Evlerinin yakınında bulunan Köprülü Kanyon Milli Parkı, Antalya'nın Manavgat ilçesine bağlı olan, iki büyük sark kayalıkların arasında geçen masmavi renkteki nehrin çevresidir. Kaynağını Toros Dağlarından alan nehrin, ortasında yer alan tarihi köprünün eski tarihi yapı görüntüsü , buraya gelen turistlerin dikkatini çekmektedir. Dar, eski bir yapı olan köprünün altı, kemer şeklinde olup, iki büyük kayayı birbirinden ayırmaktadır. Bu köprünün altından geçen nehir, Toroslardan başlayarak, Köprüçay, oradan da Serik'in güney tarafından ilerleyerek Akdeniz kıyılarına dökülüyor.
Köprülü Kanyon'un altından geçen nehrin rengi ve parlaklığı o kadar güzel ki, güneş tam tepe noktasına geldiğinde, kayalara tutunan otlar, yeşillikler ve nehrin pırıltısı göz kamaştırıcı bir hal alıyor. Kayaların arasındaki ufak çaplı çam ağaçları da yeri geldiğinde nehre gölgelik yapıyor. Kayaların birbirinden bağımsız görüntüsü ve şekilleri de etraftaki doğal ortamı gün yüzüne çıkarıyor.
Yeri gelmişken hemen söyleyeyim. Köprülü Kanyon'da balık tutma keyfini yaşayabilirsiniz. Hızlı akan akarsuyun o coşkun sularında rafting yaparak eğlenceli bir maceraya atılabilirsiniz. Köprülü Kanyon' un çevresinde rafting organizasyonu düzenleyen bir çok işletme var. Fiyatları değişkenlik gösteriyor. Şelaleyi ve kanyonun tamamını görmek isteyenler için büyük botlarla görevliler eşliğinde yaklaşık bir saatinizi alacak olan geziye çıkabilirsiniz. Bunun fiyatını da 1000 TL olarak belirlemişler. Zaten gezmeye gittiğinizde, yanınıza bir çok görevli, size bilgiler vererek, müşteri almaya çalışıyor. Kabul ettiğinizde sizi arabalarla rafting yapılan yere götürüyorlar.
Köprülü Kanyonun yanında Altınkaya ve Selge yazan tabelayı gördüm. Selge'ye 11 km yazıyordu. Selge bir Antik kent oraya gitmek için yola koyulduk. Dağın zirvesine yapılan bu antik kenti çok merak ediyordum. Zirveye çıkarken dönemeçli asfalt yollardan geçtik. Giderken sürekli arabayı durdurmak zorunda kaldım. Manzaralar tepeden o kadar güzel ve ihtişamlı görünüyordu ki, dayanamadım. Bol bol resimlerini çektim. Uzaktan o masmavi nehrin uzanan görüntüsü enfesti. Yan yana o büyük sarp kayaların uzunca sıralanışı da beni mest etmişti. Tepeden Beşkonak ve etrafının yeşilliği gözler önündeydi. Yol kenarlarındaki çam ağaçları yolculuk boyunca bize eşlik ettiler. Yukarı çıktıkça, rüzgar etkisini göstererek, havayı soğutuyordu. Dağları, yeşil bir çarşaf gibi kaplayan ağaçlar ve çalılar bulutlara meydan okuyordu. Zirvenin tepesinde bulutlarla yan yana durmak bile insana büyük keyif veriyordu.
Yolda giderken, yolun üstündeki şu kayaya bakar mısınız? Şekli bir sürahiye benziyor. Sanki geçerken arabamıza su dökecek gibi duruyor.
Selge Antik Kent yazıldığı gibi 11 Km falan değildi. Gittikçe yol bitmiyordu. Arabamda fazla benzimin yoktu. O yüzden Selge Antik Kenti göremeden geri dönmeye karar verdik. Zaten havada kararacaktı. Dönüşte manzaraya karşı, kısa bir çay molası verdik.
Artık Antalya'ya geri dönme vaktimiz gelmişti. Dönüş yolu olarak farklı bir yoldan gitmeyi tercih ettik. Bu yol daha kestirme ve yolları daha düzgündü. Giderken yine tarihi sayılabilecek eski bir köprü ve altından geçen akarsuyu gördük. Yine durduk ve son derece muazzam olan bu doğal güzelliğin resimlerini çektik. Sarp kayaların arasından geçen bu akarsu köprünün az ilerisinde küçük bir havuz oluşturmuş. Havuzun çevresi ve ona eşlik eden geniş gövdeli ağaçlar ve yeşil çalılar, herkesin mola verip, resimler çektiği alanı oluşturuyordu. Özellikle havuzun sığ olduğu yerlerde yüzeyindeki yuvarlak taşlar ve aralarından fırlayan yeşillikler çok canlı ve gösterişli duruyordu.
Bu son yerde kısa bir fotoğraf molası verdikten sonra, Antalya yoluna girdik. Böylece gezdiğimiz yerlerde yeni anılar ekleyerek, günü sonlandırmış olduk. Umarım sizleri de yaşamış olduğumuz bu güzel günün, keyfini hissettirmişizdir. Başka gezilerde buluşmak üzere kendinize iyi bakın. 🤗🌺
