Today I come to share with you an abstract Mandala that I made on an acetate disc in acrylic paint, this kind of art I like to do when I have had very busy days and usually I just let myself flow, however when I finished the piece I realized that I had made a "Z", as the initial of my name, it's strange, but sometimes I would love that someone could "read me" in some way what I capture in my mandalas.

This work took me 7 hours, since I had to wait for the layers of paint to dry.

Deseo que las formas, los colores y los miles de mundos creativos que hay en sus almas puedan expandirse cada día más y así surgir en todas las obras que hacen.

Hoy vengo a compartirles un Mandala abstracto que realicé sobre un disco de acetato en pintura acrílica, este tipo de arte me gusta hacerla cuando he tenido días muy cargados y por lo general sólo me dejo fluir, sin embargo al terminar la pieza me dí cuenta que había realizado una "Z" , como la inicial de mi nombre, es extraño, pero a veces me encantaría que alguién pudiera "Leerme" de alguna manera los que plasmo en mis mandalas.

Este trabajo me llevó 7 horas, ya que debí esperar a que se secarán las capas de pinturas.

Espero les guste y les voy a contar cómo lo realicé.

To make my mandala I used: 1 acetate disk, acrylic paints, brushes, ruler, palette, water, a tissue, a pencil.

Para realizar mi mandala utilicé: 1 disco de acetato, pinturas acrílicas, pinceles, regla, la paleta, agua, un pañito, un lápiz.

I chose my color palette and decided to work with the color; white, red, orange, blue, yellow and green and used black to outline.

I wanted to do the base in red, since I always do it in white, but I wanted a different and more intense color in the base.

Elegí mi paleta de colores y decidí trabajar con el color; Blanco, rojo, anaranjado, azul, amarillo y verde y usé negro para delinear.

La base quise hacerla en rojo, ya que siempre lo hago en blanco, pero quería un color diferente y más intenso en la base.

With a ruler and a protractor I made the shapes of the mandala, all this was flowing spontaneously, nothing planned.

Con una regla y un trasportador realicé las formas del mandala, todo esto fue fluyendo de manera espontánea, nada planificado.

Then I started painting each shape, I started with white and orange.

Luego comencé a pintar cada forma, comencé con el blanco y el anaranjado.

Little by little I added the other colors, randomly, and as I felt more comfortable, I added some white details with a special fan-shaped brush I have.

Poco a poco fuí agregando los otros colores, de forma aleatoria y como me iba sintiendo más cómoda, le agregué unos detalles en blanco con un pincel especial en forma de abanico que tengo.

Then with pointillism I painted details inside the mandala shapes and made a black outline to highlight the colors.

Después con puntillismo pinté detalles dentro de las formas del mandala y hice un delineado en negro para resaltar los colores.

And that's how my mandala was finished, I feel it was intense and I liked it a lot. What do you think?

Y así quedó terminado mi mandala, siento que quedó intenso y eso me gustó mucho. Qué opinas?

This is my collection of small and large circular paintings, I really enjoy painting them and disconnecting for moments of the cotinianity to connect with the colors.
