Burong Tujoh | Collagework

Burong Tujoh

Burong Tujoh is a legendary spooky folktale from Aceh, Indonesia - Burong meaning ghost and Tujoh meaning seven, so this is a group of ghosts.

According to Aceh folklore, these ghosts often bother kids or pregnant women, they are powerful ghosts and many of them work with shamans and are often kept by someone who practices the supernatural - they can act in both good and bad ways depending on the human, for good they can act as guards and for bad things they can kill their intended targets.

Collagework

I've been working with collage lately and really enjoy it, collage has become a part of my way of working both traditionally and digitally - For this work, I got the material from a website that provides Creative Commons licensed photos and is free to work with.

This is the sources :

This work was done with a cool software called Paint.NET with epic effects and also cool plugins available for download - then something equally cool is the gif animation that I did with Photoscape.

Thank you for taking the time to stop by and read my post🕶
