Today I'm going to make my first entry to the Splinterlands art contest, I'm really excited hehehe. My sister @nicxi was the one who encouraged me to participate, I was thinking about it a lot really, but I felt inspired by all the beautiful works that people make, and I wanted to give me the opportunity to share my art :).
Looking through all the cards I saw one that I loved, it was the "SERPENT OF THE FLAME", I found this character very col, especially because I really like snakes, and the fire that comes out of his body makes it look very bestial, this snake has a little hellish style, its bright flames make it very beautiful. This drawing was made with the watercolor technique.
Process✨
1.-First I made the sketch, for this I searched Pinterest for several references of snakes. I made the snake facing the drawing, this to make its two full fire exits. I also made the body a little longer. It is the first time that I make a FanArt of a drawing, but it was not difficult to do it.
2.-Well, for the skin of the snake I used magenta, for the lower part of the snake I used gray. I painted the eyes in grass green, the fangs in yellow and the tongue in violet. Paint the flames orange, a little dark, and yellow.
3.-I gave a second coat of paint, and gave a slightly darker color to make the shadows in some areas.
4.-And I finished by outlining the body of the snake and with a couple of colors I gave a couple of details to the drawing.
This is how my drawing would be finished, I think it looks better than expected, I will continue practicing.

Hola amigos, bienvenidos a mi post, espero que se encuentren bastante bien, y que tengan un lindo día.
Hoy voy a hacer mi primera participación al concurso de arte de Splinterlands, la verdad me siento muy emocionado jejeje. Mi hermana @nicxi fue quien me animo a participar, lo estuve pensando mucho realmente, pero me sentí inspirado por todas las hermosas obras que hace la gente, y quise darme la oportunidad de compartir mi arte :).
Buscando entre todas las cartas vi una que me encanto, que fue la de "SERPENT OF THE FLAME", me pareció muy col este personaje, mas especialmente porque a mi me gustan mucho las serpientes, y el fuego que sale de su cuerpo la hace ver muy bestial, esta serpiente tiene un estilo un poco infernal, sus brillantes llamas lo hacen muy hermoso. Este dibujo fue realizado con la técnica de acuarelas.
Proceso✨
1.-Primero hice el boceto, para esto busque en Pinterest varias referencias de serpientes. Hice a la serpiente viendo de frente al dibujo, esto para hacer sus dos salidas de fuego completas. También hice el cuerpo un poco mas largo. Es la primera vez que hago un FanArt de un dibujo, pero igual no fue difícil hacerlo.
2.-Bueno, para la piel de la serpiente use el color magenta, para la parte baja de esta use el gris. Los ojos los pinte de color verde pasto, los colmillos de amarillo y la lengua de violeta. Pinte las flamas de naranja, un poco oscuro, y amarillo.
3.-Di una segunda capa de pintura, y di un color un poco mas oscuro para hacer las sombras en algunas áreas.
4.-Y termine por delinear el cuerpo de la serpiente y con un par de colores di un par de detalles al dibujo.
Así es como quedaría terminado mi dibujo, pienso que me quedo mejor de lo esperado, seguiré practicando.
