I had a great time today! I was invited by either @elgeko (or perhaps @juliakponsford) to stop by the ultra swanky NFT Showroom Discord channel and contribute to a live ART THING! Elgeko, the maestro, took a bunch of my images, plus some classic collage elements (the hummingbird, the spinning Bitcoin, and the UFO!!!! Praise Bob!!!), and animated these bits on a live video feed, while a bunch of weirdos chatted via text and listened to some fantastic trashy garage rock. It was a nearly perfect situation. (If someone had handed me a chocolate shake, I would have thought I'd landed in heaven!)
For my part, I sent some backgrounds...
And a handful of transparent png images that I'd created ahead of time!
Watching Elgeko work was hypnotic. The movements were so fast, and seeing little bits come to life here and there was very cool! (I'm looking forward to seeing the finished works!!!!)
Meanwhile, I also worked on another piece of art while the show was in progress...

[Finalize the colors and drop the background layers out.]

I also completed the cardboard version using metallic markers...

And that's how today went! Great time! Funny folks over there at the Showroom! Extra special thanks to all the folks that hung out, chatted, and shared art and memes during the show!!!
