Hello my dear community, I hope you are very very well and hopefully you are having a great and productive week, today I want to share a new work a little freestyle where I decided to continue testing some brushes of the program (Krita), which lately I am giving a lot of use and soon I hope to launch a great work to full body style perhaps, with the help of the incredible tools that gives us this program. Here I wanted to represent a girl whom I decided to call Luismar, who is relaxing in a bar or disco while listening to good music in the background with a theme that captivates her in the deepest part of her heart:
Hola mi querida comunidad, espero que estén muy muy bien y ojalá estén teniendo una gran y productiva semana, hoy les quiero compartir una nueva obra un poco a estilo libre donde decidí seguir probando algunos pinceles del programa (Krita), el cual últimamente le estoy dando mucho uso y pronto espero lanzarme una gran obra a estilo cuerpo entero quizás, con ayuda de las increíbles herramientas que nos da este programa. Aquí quise representar a una chica a la cual decidí llamar Luismar, la cual se encuentra relajada en un bar o discoteca mientras escucha buena música de fondo con un tema que la cautiva en lo más profundo de su corazón:
PROCESS / PROCESO
The first thing for this drawing was to find a pose for Luismar's character in which it will be noticed that she was in a bar, for this I decided to choose a pose of her sitting a little bit like half side looking at the music; after having the sketch ready I started to choose colors to build Luismar. For the skin I used a medium tone, for the suit or long dress I used a blue with a tendency to greenish tones; also for the hair I varied and used a reddish brown that I liked a lot and I thought it would look great.
Lo primero para este dibujo fue encontrar una postura para el personaje de Luismar en la cual se notará que se encontraba en un bar, para esto decidí por optar por una pose de ella sentada un poco como de medio lado mirando fijamente hacia donde esta la música; luego de tener el boceto listo ahí si comencé elegir colores para construir a Luismar. Para la piel use un tono medio, para el traje o vestido largo use un azul un poco con tendencia a los tonos verdosos; también para el cabello varie y use un marrón rojizo que me gusto mucho y me pareció que quedaría genial.
With the base colors ready the next step was to give shape to each one of those colors so that the different parts of the character would come to life, for the skin I created a good volume with varied tones, then the blush of the cheeks would be the ideal touch to get a good realism; I achieved this with a scattered brush or airbrush which I then blurred lightly. After the eyes I wanted them to be very striking, and for this I decided to create them with a navy blue that I liked a lot, little by little I was giving details to the whole face including the lips and eyelashes.
Con la base de colores lista el siguiente paso era ir dándole forma a cada uno de esos colores para que las distintas partes del personaje cobraran vida propia, para la piel cree un buen volumen con tonos variados, luego el rubor de las mejillas sería el toque ideal para conseguí un buen realismo; esto lo logre con un pincel disperso o aerógrafo al cual luego difumine ligeramente. Después los ojos quise que fueran muy llamativos, y para esto decidí crearlos con un azul marino que me gusto mucho, poco a poco fui dándole detalles a todo el rostro incluyendo los labios y pestañas.
I gave the dress a somewhat elegant shape and texture, I wanted to make a dress with very smooth fabric with some folds and minimal wrinkles to give it the realism I was looking for; I was able to achieve this with a flat brush (KRITA) which also prints a little spatial texture with each stroke. For the hair the only thing I did was to scale a little the colors towards brighter and reddish tones; I wanted to do something not so complicated for short hair because I thought it would look much better that way. Then with a split end brush of the program I was able to create open hair strands with which I achieved good relief for the hair; I really liked this brush and I will use it a lot in the future.
Al vestido le di una forma y textura un algo elegante, quise hacer un vestido con tela muy liza con algunos pliegues y arrugas mínimas que le dieran ese realismo que buscaba; pude lograr esto con un pincel plano de (KRITA) el cual también imprime un poco de textura espacial con cada trazo. Para el pelo lo único que hice fue escalar un poco los colores hacia tonos más brillantes y rojizos; quise hacer algo no tan complicado para el cabello corto pues me pareció que así quedaría mucho mejor. Luego con un pincel de puntas abiertas del programa pude crear mechones de cabello algo abiertos con los cuales logre buen relieve para el pelo; me gusto mucho este pincel y lo usare mucho en el fututo.
Finally I arrived to the section of the stage, where as I said before I had the idea that it was a kind of Bar or Discotheque, I decided to create the background thinking about this and therefore I dedicated myself to create it to my imagination based on the discos that I have visited in my life; I gave shape to the circular chair where Luismar would be seated, and I gave it a quite padded appearance in intense red tonality. Then I dedicated myself to build a little bit to the background wall with a very deep blue and I decided to add texture to that wall too, this I did with one of the special brushes of (Krita) and I think it looks very cool; and finally I just applied a little layer effect to create a dim light in a little pink tone like the ones that are always in the discotheques.
Finalmente llegue al apartado del escenario, donde como les dije antes tenia la idea de que fuera una especie de Bar o Discoteca, decidí crear el fondo pensando en esto y por ello me dedique a crearla a mi imaginación en base a las discotecas que he visitado en mi vida; le di forma a la silla circular donde Luismar estaría sentada, y le di una apariencia bastante acolchonada en tonalidad roja intensa. Después me dediqué a construir un poco a la pared del fondo con un azul muy profundo y decidí también agregar textura a esa pared, esto lo hice con uno de los pinceles especiales de (Krita) y creo que se ve muy genial; ya por último solo apliqué un pequeño efecto de capa para crear una luz tenue en tonalidad un poco rosa como las que hay siempre en las discotecas.
