Constructing Goliath's Heart

metalalienedit.png

After my previous successful foray into the Extraverse through one of the Portals, I was excited and apprehensive to try my next journey. It was a long time before I finally decided to take the plunge and travelled through the portal on Goliath, in the Gruit star system.

What I found there again was nothing short of breathtaking. Had we finally found the one responsible for all the catalysis and assimilation going on in Goliath? We had been searching far and wide for the one responsible for things going on on Goliath but looks like we missed looking within, I mean the heart of Goliath!

---- The Historian

Hello everyone, hope you are all fine. Thank you once again for the wonderful support and encouragement!

In this post, I try to explain my process of trying to construct an image I want with the help of DeepDreamGenerator's Deep Style tool.

I wanted a metallic yet organic alien looking like entity to go with the style of Goliath. So I had to construct a style image with all the free images available at Pexels. I used these images:
https://www.pexels.com/photo/abstract-art-circle-clockwork-414579/
https://www.pexels.com/photo/white-animal-skull-on-brown-soil-6072090/
https://www.pexels.com/photo/assorted-silver-colored-pocket-watch-lot-selective-focus-photo-859895/

and created this style montage to be used in DeepDreamGenerator as style image:

And I used one of my earliest AI generated images from this post @lavista/cruising-on-a-space-highway as the base image. It produced this :)

I then used the mirror effect and flipped the resultant image horizontally and after some editing on GIMP, I was able to produce the result that you see at the top of this post!

Well, does it work as intended? I try it with one more of my old images and here's the result :

Looks alright; again I surmise that somehow AI seems to work better with AI. AI generated images seem to have more detail when passed through the AI of DeepDreamGenerator too or is it just me? I know Jotakrevs has already told me that that is not the case!

Anyway, the possibilities seem infinite and it is wonderful to have so many AI tools to assist our art endeavours. I do hope they don't take over our world though!

That's it for this post. Thank you for reading. I leave you with a Golden Fog version (now available as a single edition NFT here) of the first image. See you in the next one!
