Hola, en esta ocasión quería hacer algo un poco más simple a modo de práctica para una próxima ilustración que ya tengo en mente y compartiré muy pronto. Realice un boceto con la idea inicial de una especie de “Dios” con mirada algo intimidante, sin iris, con una corona en forma de aureola y ornamentos alineados a un tercer ojo en la frente. Elegí el tono del cabello blanco para el contraste y equilibrar la pieza.

Hello, this time I wanted to do something a little simpler as a practice for an upcoming illustration that I already have in mind and will share very soon. I made a sketch with the initial idea of a kind of "God" with a somewhat intimidating look, without iris, with a crown in the form of a halo and ornaments aligned to a third eye on the forehead. I chose the white hair tone for contrast and to balance the piece.

Todo esto lo realicé en blanco y negro para concentrarte en los valores y volumen del personaje, más tarde agregue los colores con el uso de la herramienta (mapa de degradado) que me da un control de los tonos que deseaba más el uso de los estilos de capas ajuste y mezcle todo en una base que podría pulir.

I did all this in black and white to concentrate on the values and volume of the character, later I added the colors with the use of the tool (gradient map) which gives me a control of the tones I wanted plus the use of the adjustment layer styles and mix everything in a base that I could polish.

Realmente disfrute pintando los tonos dorados, quería que se viera imponente pero sin exagerar. Y me encanta como contrasta con el color negro y blanco. A este punto, mientras pulía los detalles del cabello, y después de ver la pieza con una mirada más fresca, sentí que le faltaba algo en el rostro y probando varios diseños y colores, le agregue el maquillaje o mascara que combina muy bien con todo lo demás y ayuda a esa mirada intimidante de sus ojos sin iris y al mismo tiempo le da un brillo al ojo de la frente que no me lo esperaba, pero me gustó mucho el resultado.

I really enjoyed painting the gold tones, I wanted it to look stunning but not overdone. And I love how it contrasts with the black and white. At this point, while polishing the details of the hair, and after seeing the piece with a fresher look, I felt that something was missing in the face and trying various designs and colors, I added the makeup or mascara that combines very well with everything else and helps that intimidating look of her eyes without irises and at the same time gives a brightness to the eye of the forehead that I did not expect, but I really liked the result.
