This page has undergone a decent amount of revisions, and when we get to the ink stage you'll see that there are more edits yet to come. Basically, it boils down to Mookie Smitts appearing to not be getting as sick as Rosie, Chuck, and Harvey. You'll see that we cut space from a panel of Harvey in order to add Panel 6, which depicts Mookie getting more sick.
They are in a dangerous woods right now, filled with Rot, and those who already have Rot in their system(Harvey, Chuck, Rosie) have built up a slight resistance to it, whereas those who have not yet been infected (Mookie) get hit pretty damn hard.
The reason I keep making edits to drive this point home is because this is an important universe rule to set the groundwork for with our readers. In later issues our main characters travel into these woods and are met with all manner of sickness, while Harvey, Rosie, and Chuck are able to press on. We don't draw explicit attention to this rule via dialogue in this issue, which is why I want the visual difference to be as stark as possible, so my readers have been primed to accept this rule when it is revealed in issue 6.
