All my drawings are done using adobe illustrator, so first, I start drawing the basic shape of the head.

after this, I'm drawing the hair. I'm drawing it in several different layers, so I will animate the motion in the hair in different directions. The green area will be used for cutting the shapes and animating the eyes later. I will mirror half of the face later too.

And now, I'm into After effects animating the pupils and the blinking of the eye, I'm also adding the shooting stars and the shadows to add depth to the layers.
