I want to share you some illustrations I've made inspired by "art glitch". This kind of images are based on images errors, corrupted files by program failure or viruses and damaged jpgs.
I found interesting this images as a new type of abstract art, but mixed with actual technology. This corrupted images have vibrant colors and motion, some are modern based on digital images, others are glitches based on the old VHS damaged tapes, those second ones have a nostalgia feeling and are often related with the "vaporwave" nostalgia aesthetics.
I recreated it and mixed with my vector drawings on illustrator and this was the result.
the first one is based on the classic Da Vinci's painting "the lady with an ermine".
Quiero compartirles algunas ilustraciones que hice inspiradas en el "arte glitch". Este tipo de imágenes se basan en errores de imágenes, archivos dañados por fallas del programas con virus y jpgs dañados.
Encontré interesantes estas imágenes como un nuevo tipo de arte abstracto, pero mezclado con tecnología actual. Estas imágenes corruptas tienen colores vibrantes y mucho movimiento, algunas son modernas basadas en imágenes digitales, otras son imágenes con fallas basadas en las viejas cintas VHS dañadas, esas segundas tienen un sentimiento de nostalgia y muchas veces se relacionan con la estética de la nostalgia "vaporwave".
Lo recreé y mezclé con mis dibujos vectoriales en Illustrator y este fue el resultado.

Since this art is related to corrupted files and ransomware viruses, glitch art is often related with hackers, so I made one inspired by this with an anonymous activist melted with the digital trails.

for this one, I took the VHS glitch colors. The tube TV screens works mixing three light beams, red, green and blue (RGB), when the screen is damaged it usually can't mix well this beams creating errors on the colors. The "broken" images can be a result of damage in the VHS tapes, and in old cable channels, a poor signal or an encoded channel (that ones you had to pay for see :D) used to be seen with inverse colors and broken images too.
para este, tomé los colores de falla de VHS. Las pantallas de TV de tubo funcionan mezclando tres haces de luz, rojo, verde y azul (RGB), cuando la pantalla está dañada normalmente no puede mezclar bien estos haces creando errores en los colores. Las imágenes "rotas" pueden ser el resultado de daños en las cintas VHS, y en los canales de cable antiguos, una mala señal o un canal codificado (por los que tenías que pagar ver: D), se veían con colores inversos e imágenes rotas también.
