Greetings friends who love manual arts! I welcome you to my DC DIY workshop, this time, to close the year I decided to participate in the special Christmas edition of the Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Theme: Rebellion! with an art applicable to everyday use as it is a cover for my phone inspired by Nimbledook Scout Christmas.
For this project I used white opaline cardboard, pencil, black gel pen with 0.5 milliliter tip, red, black, green and yellow brush markers, gold acrylic paint, scissors, transparent phone cover.
I started by marking the work area, for this I took my phone cover and marked it on the cardboard.
Once my work area was marked I began to draw the character of the card. I did it in pencil keeping some details like the backdrop and the elf hat. I changed her shorts for a miniskirt.
Then I took the markers to make some details with the Zentangle technique, which is my favorite as it gives my doodles a special touch. I started at the top of the cover to leave room to draw the trajectory of the backdrop.
I painted the character's elf costume using red and green markers, emblematic of Christmas.
I made the Rebellion logo in gold and red and finally I drew the circular trajectory of the backdrop.
I cut out the doodle in the shape of the cover and gave it shadows with the pencil.
And that's it! This is a fun way to customize your phone cover and give it a new look to close the year with Splinterlands style.
I hope you like these doodles with which I say goodbye to this 2023 using it on my phone. I wish you a successful and blessed new year and hope to see you next time. Bye!
Chao!
