Hello Hiver friends, How are you doing? This is my first time to post here @alienarthive community. Coffee is a simple art form that can create a beautiful monochromatic piece of art. Creating art using this medium is similar with watercolour.
This painting is my original composition of landscape, I called this painting "A Hidden Lake"
Materials Needed:
š Watercolor Paper or sketching Paper
š Pencil and eraser
š Coffee Powder
š 2 small cup ( lighter and darker shade)
š Ruler
š Clean Water
š Rag
š Paper napkin
Lighter shade and darker shade of coffee.
Brushes:
š Flat Brush /small #10, 10/32 / 8.0mm
š Liner Brush #2 / 2/32" / 1.6mm
š Round Brush #8 / 5/32" / 4.0mm
š Filbert brush
note: Keep all the materials ready before you start painting.
Basic Procedure:
ā¢ Make an sketch of your painting composition or painting reference.
ā¢ Paint using lighter shade of the background like distance trees.
ā¢ Paint the first layer of the trees.
ā¢ Once the first layer is completely dry, you can proceed to paint with a darker shade of coffee.
ā¢ Put reflection on the water.
ā¢ Then add details to come alive of your painting.
Take note in putting a details, you cannot have a sharp line or a shape unless it is completely dry.
