La reina de la colmena :

Este concepto se desarrolla como una abeja semi humanoide es quien lidera la colmena, quien encamina a todos y da las ordenes para que todo funcione segun las necesidades de la misma.

Su diseño le hace estar por encima de cualquier otra reina, su forma lo deja claro no es cualquier ser, sin embargo hay mucho mas para ver en ella de lo que pensamos posee una estructura que podria ser engañosa a la vista y que te hara dudar un poco cuando la mires, pero es solo un factor distractor para captar a su presa y controlar a su colmena

The queen of the beehive :

This concept is developed as a semi-humanoid bee is who leads the hive, who leads everyone and gives orders for everything to work according to the needs of the same.

Her design makes her stand above any other queen, her shape makes it clear that she is not just any being, however there is much more to see in her than we think, she has a structure that could be deceptive to the eye and that will make you doubt a little when you look at her, but it is only a distracting factor to capture her prey and control her hive.

Proceso :

En el desarrollo de esta ilustracion, comence por el rostro el cual fue tomando forma, de insectoide desde un comienzo, tuve la idea de que quizas parecia una hormiga, pero conforme se fue desarrollando el cuerpo empezaron a aparecer formas aun mas interesantes que empezaron a denotar mas empoderamiento en el mismo personaje

Llegue a plantearlo como una mariposa en un punto tambien, pero no me senti convencido no terminaba de encajar en el concepto que se iba desarrollando por lo que fue uno de los ideas que descarte, sin embargo tanto la cabeza como el cuerpo se conviertieron el pilar fundamental para el desarrollo de la ilustracion

Process :

In the development of this illustration, I started with the face which was taking shape as an insectoid from the beginning, I had the idea that maybe it looked like an ant, but as the body was developing, even more interesting shapes began to appear that began to denote more empowerment in the character.

I came to raise it as a butterfly at one point too, but I did not feel convinced that it did not fit in the concept that was developing so it was one of the ideas that I discarded, however both the head and the body became the cornerstone for the development of the illustration.

Continuando con el desarrollo aqui podran apreciar un aspecto mas definido en el lado izquierdo, si leyeron la descripcion al inicio del post, hay mas para explorar en esta ilustracion de lo que parece, por lo tanto aqui es donde podran apreciar ciertos detalles que luego en la coloracion se diluyen un poco y terminan siendo casi imperceptibles para la vista.

Como podran ver, en el momento de la coloracion y con el diseño ya casi en su totalida definido podran ver como ya tomo mas fuerza y forma nuestra reina de la colmena

Continuing with the development here you can appreciate a more defined aspect on the left side, if you read the description at the beginning of the post, there is more to explore in this illustration than it seems, so here is where you can appreciate certain details that later in the coloring are diluted a little and end up being almost imperceptible to the eye.

As you can see, at the time of coloring and with the design almost completely defined you can see how our queen of the hive has already taken more strength and shape.

En el proceso final, ya solo estaba la cuestion de como iba a ser, una reina sin alas, pero con colores intensos o con alas y que esos colores proyectaran aun mas poder en combinacion con las alas.

Finalmente como pudieron ver en el resultado, las alas son una parte importante para este personaje, claro la disposicion de las mismas cambia en cuanto su posicion para no darle un aspecto tan grande si no compactarlo un poco para que encajara todo en su lugar.

In the final process, there was only the question of how it was going to be, a queen without wings, but with intense colors or with wings and that those colors would project even more power in combination with the wings.

Finally as you could see in the result, the wings are an important part for this character, of course the disposition of the wings changes in terms of its position to not give it a big aspect but compact it a little bit to fit everything in its place.
