This anime was one of many Isekais last season, but it knew how to present a plot and development quite different from the usual, or at least different enough to attract attention at first sight, which also has elements of Harem, fantasy, romance and a military style.
At first the story of this anime is not very different from the rest of Isekais, a lonely, intelligent and friendless protagonist named Kazuya Souma who one day for no reason and by magic is transported to another world. So far a generic isekai, but then we are shown that despite being sent to a world where magic and demons exist (with the typical Demon King as an enemy) Souma does not receive a lot of powers or special abilities, nor is he presented as the prophesied Hero to defeat the Demons, instead he is told that he was summoned into a kingdom on the verge of bankruptcy with a lousy economy and that he must pay tribute to the kingdoms that are battling the demons and he will be just another soldier sent to fight and most likely die. It is at this point where the direction of this anime is presented and it will be about Souma trying to recover the economy of the country and make it prosperous again to pay the tributes of the war and avoid having to go in his place.
It may seem a little boring an anime where the economy of the kingdom is recovered, but the way they know how to present it is quite interesting as well as fun for several comic aspects that give the development of the story and Souma's life in the new world. In order to make this possible Souma becomes the new King where not many will accept him, but he will know how to get ahead. As there could not be an Isekai without its element of romance and Harem Souma is engaged to the princess of the kingdom and only daughter of the previous king to ensure his acceptance throughout the kingdom, as you might expect despite being planned in an improvised way both end up developing a relationship where then enter the scene more female characters to complete the Harem of the anime.
At first glance Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki may seem boring, but it ends up being a very entertaining anime to watch. La temporada de anime Verano 2021 ya llego a su final y la gran mayoría de animes de 12-13 capítulos ya concluyeron dejándonos buenos animes en donde algunos ya contaron con el anuncio de una nueva temporada, OVA o proyecto futuro. Una de las apuestas de las animadoras cuando se tratan de animes nuevos sean originales o basados en Mangas/Novelas es hacer una temporada corta de 12-13 Cap y si tiene una buena recepción se anuncia una nueva temporada, bajo este criterio se puede pensar que todo anime que anuncie su nueva temporada será bueno y algunas veces puede ser verdad como fue el caso de Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki también conocido como How a Realist Hero Rebuilt the Kingdom en Ingles. Este anime fue uno de tantos Isekais que hubo la temporada pasada, pero supo platear una trama y desarrollo bastante diferente a lo habitual o al menos lo suficientemente diferente como para llamar la atención a primera vista el cual además tiene elementos de Harem, fantasía, romance y un estilo militar.
En un principio la historia de este anime no es muy diferente al resto de Isekais, un protagonista solitario, inteligente y sin amigos llamado Kazuya Souma el cual un día sin ningún motivo y por arte de magia es trasportado a otro mundo. Hasta ahí un isekai genérico, pero luego se nos muestra que a pesar de ser enviado a un mundo donde existe la magia y los demonios (con el típico Rey Demonio como enemigo) Souma no recibe una gran cantidad de poderes o habilidades especiales, ni si quiere se le presenta como el Héroe profetizado para derrotar a los Demonios, en su lugar se le dice que fue invocado en un reino al borde de la quiebra con pésima economía y que debe pagar tributo a los reinos que están batallando con los demonios y el será un soldado más enviado a luchar y lo más probable morir. Es en este punto donde se presenta el rumbo de este anime y se tratara de Souma tratando de recuperar la economía del país y hacer que vuelve a ser prospero para de esa manera pagar los tributos de la guerra evitando tener que ir el en su lugar.
Puede parecer un poco aburrido un anime donde se recupera la economía del reino, pero la forma en que lo saben presentar resulta bastante interesante al igual que divertido por varios aspectos cómicos que le dan al desarrollo de la historia y la vida de Souma en el nuevo mundo. Para poder hacer esto posible Souma se convierte en el nuevo Rey en donde no muchos lo aceptaran, pero sabrá cómo salir adelante. Como no podría existir un Isekai sin su elemento de romance y Harem Souma se compromete con la princesa del reino y única hija del rey anterior para asegurar su aceptación en todo el reino, como se podría esperar a pesar de platearse de una forma improvisada ambos terminaran desarrollando una relación en donde luego entraran en escena más personajes femeninos para completar el Harem del anime.
A primera vista Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki puede parecer aburrido, pero termina siendo un anime muy entretenido para ver. Cada capítulo se hace divertido viendo como temas tan irrelevantes en los animes como el trasponerte de alimentos y la forma de cocinarlos puede tener relevancia en la historia. Del mismo modo el anime sabe alternar muy bien entre los elementos de comedia, romance, acción y hasta estrategia para complementar muy bien su historia evitando caer en monotonías o repetir mucho un solo elemento. Otro de los puntos favorables de este anime fue su animación y es que se trata de un estilo clásico, pero bien trabajado en donde si bien no cuenta con un nivel de detalle increíble el mismo no le hace falta para resaltar a los personajes y dar un efecto muy agradable a la vista. Un anime que termino gustando y llamando la atención mucho más de lo que se esperaba hasta el punto de anunciar su próxima temporada en donde muchos la esperar con ansias.
