Welcome dear internet travelers and thank you very much for making a temporary stop in my post, the other day I wanted to see an anime of fights and blood of those that have more action than anything else and I came across something that could meet my expectations called "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie" which I had previously heard of and seemed to have interesting matches. Without further ado, get ready to fight a battle against the gods because we are about to start.
Bienvenidos queridos viajeros del internet y muchas gracias por hacer una parada temporal en mi post, el otro día tenía ganas de ver un anime de peleas y sangre de esos que tienen más acción que otra cosa y me topé con algo que podía cumplir mis expectativas llamado "Shuumatsu no Valkyrie" del cual ya había escuchado previamente y parecía tener combates interesantes. Sin más que agregar prepárense para librar una batalla contra los dioses pues estamos por empezar.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie is based on the manga of the same name created by Takumi Fukui and Shinya Umemura, the anime was directed by Masao Okubo and produced by Graphinica, has 1 season of 12 chapters released in 2021. It is an action anime, the story focuses on the gods who gathered to determine if they should exterminate humans or let them live; by unanimous decision it was decided to eliminate us however a Valkyrie intervenes so that humans are granted the opportunity to defend themselves so they resort to the "Ragnarok" in which 13 humans and 13 gods will fight in 1 against 1 combats and the first to obtain 7 victories will be the winner, the representatives of the human race must give everything to avoid the annihilation of their species.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie está basado en el manga del mismo nombre creado por Takumi Fukui y Shinya Umemura, el anime fue dirigido por Masao Okubo y producido por Graphinica, cuenta con 1 temporada de 12 capítulos estrenada en 2021. Es un anime de acción, la historia se centra en los dioses los cuales se reunieron para determinar si debían exterminar a los humanos o dejarlos vivir; por decisión unánime se decidió eliminarnos sin embargo una Valquiria interviene para que se les conceda la oportunidad a los humanos de defenderse por lo que se recurre al "Ragnarok" en el que 13 humanos y 13 dioses se batirán en combates 1 contra 1 y el primero en obtener 7 victorias será el ganador, los representantes de la raza humana deberán darlo todo para evitar la aniquilación de su especie.

I will not highlight absolutely anyone since the characters are only presented when fighting and only fulfill that role, it is evident that the anime does not give importance to anything other than the combat skills that they possess.
No destacare absolutamente a nadie puesto que los personajes solo son presentados a la hora de pelear y solo cumplen con ese rol, es evidente que el anime no le da importancia a otra cosa que no sea las habilidades de combate que posean estos.
That wonderful soundtrack, is the most excellent I have heard in an anime in a long time since it consists of being as epic as it can to provide an unprecedented emotion when it comes to combat. Unfortunately the animation does not keep up, the characters look very good outside the battles but once the fight begins they look totally static, the movements look extremely slow and lacking in dynamism, even the moments of greatest climax are executed using boring light reflections or simply pass the scene and the next thing to be shown is the result of the movement without showing the movement itself, it is even worse when it tries to represent the speed of a character since it does so in a very regrettable way. All these details could be forgiven if it were an anime of another genre but being the action its main attraction these errors are paid dearly.
Que banda sonora tan maravillosa, es de lo más excelente que he escuchado en un anime en mucho tiempo puesto que consiste en ser tan épica como puede para brindar una emoción sin precedentes a la hora de los combates. Desgraciadamente la animación no le sigue el paso, los personajes se ven muy bien fuera de las batallas pero una vez que empieza la pelea se ven totalmente estáticos, los movimientos se ven sumamente lentos y carentes de dinamismo, incluso los momentos de mayor clímax son ejecutados usando reflejos de luz aburridos o sencillamente pasan la escena y lo siguiente en ser mostrado es el resultado del movimiento sin mostrar el movimiento en sí, es incluso peor cuando pretende representar la velocidad de un personaje puesto que lo hace de forma muy lamentable. Todos estos detalles podrían perdonarse si fuera un anime de otro género pero al ser la acción su principal atractivo estos errores se pagan caro.
The construction of the world is only limited to presenting a reality in which many gods and beliefs of different religions coexist on the same planet, all these deities coexist in harmony and only have contempt for humans since they consider them a mistake. This is the whole context that is given since it pretends to be of the style type on substance so it intends to give few details and focus only on the action which makes it of little importance to make an interesting world.
La construcción de mundo solo se limita a presentar una realidad en que muchos dioses y creencias de diferentes religiones coexisten en el mismo planeta, todas estas deidades conviven en armonía y solamente tienen desprecio por los humanos puesto que los consideran un error. Este es todo el contexto que se da puesto que pretende ser del tipo estilo sobre sustancia por lo que pretende dar pocos detalles y enfocarse solo en la acción lo que hace que se le de poca importancia a hacer un mundo interesante.
The plot only focuses on the conflict between 2 parties disputing the survival of a race, as I mentioned previously is the type of anime that is style over substance and this means that it intends to have frantic action without giving importance to detail things or reach something in particular. Unfortunately the action is boring to die, the fact that the past of the characters and the explanations are presented right in the middle of the combats makes it lose all the tension and emotion of it.
La trama solo se centra en el conflicto entre 2 partes disputándose la supervivencia de una raza, como mencione previamente es del tipo de anime que es estilo sobre sustancia y esto quiere decir que pretende tener acción frenética sin dar importancia a detallar las cosas o llegar a algo en concreto. Lamentablemente la acción es aburrida a morir, el hecho de que el pasado de los personajes y las explicaciones sean presentados justo en medio de los combates hace que pierda toda la tensión y emoción del mismo.
The characters it features are cannon fodder and/or emotionless psychopaths who want to fight just for the sake of it. In this aspect the gods are much more boring since they are only defined without exception by their hatred of humans and their desire to combat; While human characters are not the big deal at least their motivations vary depending on the individual, they keep in mind things like protecting their offspring or using the opportunity to continue evolving as fighters, it does not make them deep but much more interesting than the boring gods.
Los personajes que presenta son carne de cañón y/o psicópatas sin emociones que quieren luchar solo porque sí. En este aspecto los dioses son mucho más aburridos puesto que solo los define sin excepción su odio a los humanos y sus ganas de combate; Si bien los personajes humanos no son la gran cosa por lo menos sus motivaciones varían dependiendo el individuo, tienen presente cosas como la protección de su descendencia o el utilizar la oportunidad para seguir evolucionando como peleadores, no los hace profundos pero si mucho más interesantes que los aburridos dioses.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie is an anime that ignores a good plot and world building to focus directly on presenting unbridled action, unfortunately that action is boring and comes with an animation that helps her dig her own grave. That is why it deserves 2 stars out of 7, its worst sin is that of putting unnecessary dialogue and scenes during the action that is supposed to be its main attraction.
Shuumatsu no Valkyrie es un anime que obvia una buena trama y construcción de mundo para enfocarse directamente en presentar acción desenfrenada, desgraciadamente esa acción es aburrida y viene acompañada de una animación que la ayuda a cavar su propia tumba. Por ello merece 2 estrellas de 7, su peor pecado es el de meter diálogos y escenas innecesarias durante la acción que se supone sea su principal atractivo.
