Hay dos tipos de anime que me gustan dependiendo de si busco algo entretenido o algo mas artístico. Respectivamente serian las comedias absurdas/experimentales, y los Sci-Fi.

Amo las comedias, pero mi tipo de humor predilecto es el humor absurdo, donde hay que esperar lo inesperado, un humor totalmente alejado de la realidad pero que a la vez nos sumerge en lo esencial de ella, me encanta cuando los guionistas se llevan su creatividad al limite. Quizá no sean de lo mas artístico que allá en el sentido mas estricto de la palabra, pero si lograron en mi inspirarme a, tras aprender tantas reglas sobre escritura, escribir mis propias historias donde pueda jugar con dichas reglas para crear todo tipo de situaciones irónicas (prueba de que para deconstruir algo primero tienes que estudiar y comprender ese algo). Ejemplos de esto serian Bobobobo Bobobo, Nichijou, Sayonara Zetsubo Sensei, Excel Saga, y el poderoso Space Dandy.
I love comedies, but my favorite type of humor is the absurd humor, where you have to expect the unexpected, a humor totally far from reality but that at the same time immerses us in the essence of it, I love when screenwriters take their creativity to the limit. Un buen Sci-Fi siempre sera preferible a la fantasía donde todo se resuelve con magia por mas reglas que te expliquen, a los guionistas se les olvidaran... perdón, me deje llevar. Es magnifico como el Sci-Fi puede trabajar con cosas fantásticas a pesar de estar atado a la una lógica pseudo-científica. Abarca varias temáticas, pero desde siempre e sido un apasionado de la biología, ya saben: Aliens, mutaciones, experimentos, etc. Llegan a tocar temas que van mas allá de la humanidad como la preservación de la vida, la inmensidad del universo, o la evolución. Ejemplos serian Gantz, Ajin, Parasyte y las películas CGI de Resident Evil, si, esas pelis cuentan como anime.
A good Sci-Fi will always be preferable to fantasy, where everything is solved with magic, no matter how many rules they explain to you, the scriptwriters will forget... sorry, I got carried away. It is magnificent how Sci-Fi can work with fantastic things in spite of being tied to a pseudo-scientific logic. It covers several topics, but I have always been a fan of biology, you know: Aliens, mutations, experiments, etc. They touch on topics that go beyond humanity such as the preservation of life, the immensity of the universe, or evolution. Examples are Gantz, Ajin, Parasyte and the CGI movies of Resident Evil, yes, those movies count as anime.
