[ESP/ING] Mi historia con el anime// My story with the anime

Saludos personitas de esta comunidad, es mi primera vez haciendo un post aquí y espero les guste el saber cómo conocí el anime. No lo descubrí recientemente eso es seguro, la verdad es que no sabía que se llama anime jajajaja, cuando era pequeña para mí eran simplemente caricaturas.

Greetings people of this community, this is my first time making a post here and I hope you like to know how I met the anime. I didn't discover it recently that's for sure, the truth is that I didn't know it's called anime hahahaha, when I was little for me it was just cartoons.

Mi papá es fan del anime, desde joven. Ver anime con él es algo que disfruto mucho. Cuando tenía 7 años, recuerdo divertirme con Mazinger Z, al inicio no entendía nada, robots y personajes randoms y un tipo malo que nunca moría, aún sin entender el anime seguía viendo. Con mi papi siempre vi series y películas chinas, japonesas, algunas coreanas, la mayoría eran sobre ninjas, maestros del Kung Fu, Karate, samuráis y guerras (sangre por todos lados) por ahí mis gustos por las culturas asiáticas. Con el tiempo nos enseñó (a mi hermana y a mí) otros animes súper viejos de cuando estaba en la Universidad, algunos de estos los transmitían por la tv, otros los compraba en CDs (aún rondan esos CDs en mi casa, no los puedo desechar porque son reliquias jajaja).

My dad has been an anime fan since he was young. Watching anime with him is something I enjoy a lot. When I was 7 years old, I remember having fun with Mazinger Z, at the beginning I didn't understand anything, robots and randoms characters and a bad guy that never died, even without understanding anime I kept watching. With my daddy I always watched Chinese, Japanese and some Korean series and movies, most of them were about ninjas, Kung Fu masters, Karate, samurai and wars (blood everywhere) that's why I liked Asian cultures. Eventually he showed us (my sister and me) other super old anime from when I was in college, some of these were broadcasted on TV, others I bought on CDs (those CDs still hang around my house, I can't throw them away because they are relics hahaha).

Ya con 9 años vimos nuestro primer anime juntos (Mi papá, mi hermana, mi abuela paterna y yo) nada más y nada menos que el mismísimo Inuyasha. Todo fue genial, las peleas, algunos diálogos, los personajes (sobre todo mi gran amo y señor Sesshomaru). Para mí ya era mega fan del anime, hablaba de él con todo el mundo. Conforme crecía vi por pedazos varios animes, entre ellos; Pokemón, Naruto, Samurai X, Los caballeros del Zodiaco, Mew Mew Power y el gran Dragon Ball, les puedo dar la seguridad de que si los llegué a ver completos no me acuerdo.

When I was 9 years old, we watched our first anime together (my dad, my sister, my paternal grandmother and me) nothing more and nothing less than Inuyasha itself. Everything was great, the fights, some of the dialogues, the characters (especially my great lord and master Sesshomaru). For me I was already a mega fan of the anime, I talked about it with everyone. As I grew up I watched several anime in pieces, among them; Pokemon, Naruto, Samurai X, The Knights of the Zodiac, Mew Mew Power and the great Dragon Ball, I can assure you that if I got to see them complete I don't remember.

Con 12 años me fui por los libros y deje el anime atrás, ni siquiera recordaba mis momentos de locura cuando lo veía. Estando en 1er año de Media General, mis mejores amigos (@yacfrost Y @jeikold) se la pasaban conversando de Akame Ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, entre otros. Escuchar su fanatismo me aburría lo suficiente, me apartaba de ellos cuando comenzaban sus charlas que parecían no terminar. Llegó el momento en que dije: “Si no puedes con el enemigo, únetele”. Me enseñaron Dog Days, Orange, Teppan toppa gurren lagann y otros. Me recomendaron Lovely Complex bueno fue más bien una burla jajaja. Soy alta, ahora mido 1,73 m en aquel momento era 1,62 m, y mis amigos son bajos en estatura, antes me gustaba un chico que era muy muy bajito podía ser mi hermano menor jajaja (Sigue siendo más bajito que yo jajaja), gozaron bastante con este anime y las burlas por su parte aún siguen. Luego era yo quien iniciaba esas conversaciones randoms de animes, cosplayers y mangas.

When I was 12 years old I went for the books and left anime behind, I didn't even remember my moments of madness when I watched it. When I was in the 1st year of General Media, my best friends (@yacfrost and @jeikold) would talk about Akame Ga Kill, Tokyo Ghoul, among others. Listening to their fanaticism bored me enough, I would turn away from them when they started their talks that never seemed to end. There came a time when I said, "If you can't take the enemy, join them." They showed me Dog Days, Orange, Teppan toppa gurren lagann and others. I was recommended Lovely Complex well it was more of a tease hahaha. I'm tall, now I'm 1,73 m at that time I was 1,62 m, and my friends are short in height, before I liked a guy who was very very short could be my younger brother hahaha (He is still shorter than me hahaha), they enjoyed quite a lot with this anime and the teasing on their part is still going on. Then it was me who started those randoms conversations about anime, cosplayers and manga.

Hubo una temporada (no sé si aún lo hacen, realmente soy ignorante al tema) que el ver anime o ser “Otaku” era motivo de burlas crueles y dañinas. Estando en 3er año de bachiller ocultaba mis gustos por el anime y los mangas, ya ni lo comentaba… Con el tiempo (supongo) se hizo normal el ver animes. Cualquier persona hablaba sobre Your Name, el Castillo ambulante o el clásico One Piece. Ya todos eran fans. Al inicio esto me molesto mucho, las personas que se burlaban ahora lo notaban, con el pasar del tiempo pensé: ¡Que importa cómo se hayan interesado por al anime! Lo esencial es que se divierten y deleitan de algo tan bello como la animación japonesa.

There was a time (I don't know if they still do it, I'm really ignorant on the subject) when watching anime or being "Otaku" was a reason for cruel and harmful mockery. When I was in my 3rd year of high school I hid my love for anime and manga, I didn't even talk about it... With time (I guess) it became normal to watch anime. Anyone would talk about Your Name, The Walking Castle or the classic One Piece. Everyone was already a fan. At the beginning this bothered me a lot, the people who made fun of it now noticed it, but as time went by I thought: What does it matter how they got interested in anime! The essential thing is that they have fun and enjoy something as beautiful as Japanese animation.

Ahora, me veo animes completos en menos de un día, puedo pasar semanas enteras viéndolos, y cuando termino uno empiezo rápidamente el otro. También soy quien ahora le enseña sobre anime a mi papá (el señor es “otaku” jajaja) desde gore hasta Shonen, se vio The Promised Neverland en una noche y después andaba molesto conmigo porque no habían sacado la otra temporada como si yo tuviera la culpa jajajajaja.

Now, I watch entire anime in less than a day, I can spend weeks watching them, and when I finish one I quickly start the other.
I'm also the one who now teaches my dad about anime (he's an "otaku" hahaha) from gore to Shonen, he watched The Promised Neverland in one night and then he was annoyed with me because they hadn't released the next season as if it was my fault hahahahahahaha.
