Dear Chess fans,
in the 4th round of Season 6 we were for the third time 16 players again (officially 18, but 2 players played less than 2 games and were not counted) - can we ever surpass this magic threshold?. @sawkito won again - with a huge margin, despite he had initially, like others, some connection problems! Second was @kreur and third @jaki01.
In this round I could be happy with a fourth place (2 points I got for free), but the pairings were more than strange to say the least. I had an opponent average rating of 2174 (must be a record), while e.g. the runner-up @kreur had one of 1630. That´s more than 500 difference! Crazy. I had to play 4 times against our winner, so my strategy became during the tournament to immediately resign those games after my first mistake to gain time for games where I had more winning chances. And it worked out well, thanks to some decent games where I didn´t blunder (and the opponent´s berserking helped too).
I will evaluate moving to chess.com if the pairing algorithm is better there.

No changes in the top positions, just @jaki01 was able to sneak up to @eniolw and has now the same no. of points (with a tiny smaller average performance). 3 rounds left in this season and the first place of @sawko seems assured.
