Hivechess Tournament Round 2: @sawko was the winner in a close battle!

Dear Chess fans,

in the second round of Season 6 we were again 16 players, including a completely new one - welcome @vasigo! @yazp (zulukill) played this time from the beginning, but @vjap55, the winner from the last round, joined late or had some connection problems and couldn´t land in the top rankings.
In a fierce battle between @sawkito, @eniolw, @jaki01 and @yazp (zulukill) at the end @sawkito could succeed, after @eniolw having the lead for quite some time. After this quartet @pereu4ivatel (pereu4uwatch) was able to achieve a remarkable 5th rank without losing a single game! Congratulations to All!
I had one of my worst tournaments ever and lost some 50 rating points. By accident I also resigned a game in the starting position (I had actually intended to berserk and pressed the wrong button). Can´t get much worse than that.

The games of this round can be found here, in case you want to replay some of them.

ATP: average tournament performance

We have a new leader! @eniolw for the first time leads the tournament, with the same number of points as the second, @sawko, but with the better average performance so far. Third is @jaki01 already 5 points behind. With that many strong players participating, it can get this time more challenging for @sawko to keep his champion title!

The rules you can look up in the announcement post.

See you next week and as always - keep practicing!
