Another round of the popular Saturday chess tournament is behind us. As so often, I got off to a bad start this time. I definitely have to work on my psychology. Against strong players I often have good positions that I lose through one move blunders, and against weaker players I regularly lose at the beginning. My 1700 rating points on lichchess correspond to about 1400 in German rating (DWZ) and that means the weakness of the constant game. Players with 1700 DWZ (2000 lichess rating) play more consistently and make fewer mistakes. It's good that I know the theory, now it's the turn of the practice.

Wieder liegt eine Runde des beliebten Samstags Schach Turniers hinter uns. Wie so oft hatte ich diesmal einen schlechten Start. Definitiv muß ich an meiner Psychologie arbeiten. Gegen starke Spieler habe ich oft gute Stellungen die ich durch Einsteller verliere, und gegen schwächere Spieler verliere ich gerade zu Beginn regelmäßig. Meine 1700 Ratingpunkte auf lichchess entsprechen etwa 1400 in Deutscher Wertungszahl (DWZ) und das bedeutet eben die Schwäche des konstanten Spiels. Spieler mit 1700 DWZ (2000 lichess Rating) spielen konstanter und machen weniger Fehler. Gut das mir die Theorie bekannt ist, jetzt ist die Praxis an der Reihe.
