My First Week Back In Chiang Mai - It's All Very Familiar 🙂

I have been in Chiang Mai for almost a week already. It's been good to 'land' here a bit and feel into how I want to structure my days. My initial plan for Chiang Mai was to spend at least a month here but now I think I'll stay until the end of January (that's when my visa expires). I think I will come back to Thailand after that but probably go to an island for some beach time. But I just love Chiang Mai. Well many do, it's already very busy here.

Autumn walk through history in Topola, Serbia

Hello everyone, last weekend I finally found some time to travel outside my city and visit some interesting places that I want to share with you. My children always look forward to our trips and I am happy that on the one hand I enjoy creating content for my Hive blog and on the other hand I like to make them happy too. I passed on my love for traveling and exploring to them and now they can't wait every weekend for us to go somewhere.

IMMERSIVE VAN GOGH EXHIBITION | TORONTO ‼️

Hello my hiver friends, how are you guys doing…!! Today I went to visit the Van Gogh Exhibition Toronto. This is a bit overdue but since Van Gogh is one of my favorite artists, I definitely wanted to give my two cents on this exhibition. Especially after seeing this all over Social Media, I really wanted to go. And I’m glad that I did visit the exhibition.

Me and my brother went there. When we first came in, there was one big room and people were sitting on the floor all around. The visuals definitely live up to the hype...

Summary and Review - Master of Change by Brad Stulburg

I truly enjoyed reading Master of Change by Brad Stulburg. I’ve put together a brief summary followed by a lengthier review. The summary is very high level and the review, so as not to get too entirely long, is just the high points. This is a solid 3 star review book for me which means definitely worth recommending and reading again.

My Summary

The conventional view of change is that of homeostasis. It originated in 1865 with a French physician named Claud Bernard. The term homeostasis was brought into existence by an American scientist in 1926. Essentially the idea of homeostasis says that to successfully navigate change we must return to and/or remain in some fixed state of being that is at some desired level of comfort and happiness.

Incredible India, Episode - #25: Badrinath Temple, Uttarakhand

I am back with another episode of my favourite series on Hive (yes, I am a little biased). I will share one of the holiest places in Hinduism, the Badrinath Temple, one of the Char Dham Pilgrimage site located in the Garhwal region in Chamoli District of Uttarakhand (one of the northern provinces of India (Bharat)).

An Epic Road Trip

Located in the Chamoli District of Uttarakhand, at an elevation of about 3300 meters above sea level. It can be challenging to reach there and the temple remains open only for about 6-7 months (May to Nov) and remains closed during winter due to heavy snowfall on the roads and at Badrinath Town.
